Number One Contender For Raw Women’s Championship To Be Determined Next Week In Triple Threat Match

Becky Lynch Raw Women's Championship

Next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will feature a triple threat match to determine the number one contender for Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship.

Despite Liv Morgan looking dominant at times in her match against Becky Lynch at Day 1, Big Time Becks was successful in retaining her Raw Women’s Championship on the first WWE premium live event of the year.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky appeared in the ring to gloat about her win and say that no one in the locker room is able to face her and she’s become a work of art. She was interrupted by Morgan, who criticized The Man’s jacket and said that she’s harder on herself than anyone but wanted another chance at winning the title. The champion scoffed, saying that there was only one Big Time Becks and it certainly wasn’t Morgan.

Bianca Belair made her way to the ring as Liv and Becky went back and forth, stating that she’d taken a Doudrop detour but wanted to get back in the hunt for the Raw Women’s Championship because while there is only one Big Time Becks, she certainly isn’t the EST of WWE. Liv Morgan told Belair that she and Becky were in the middle of something, and the champion said the two should fight and get back to her when they figured out which woman was more deserving.

This led to a brawl with Belair and Morgan, but Becky Lynch eventually stood tall to end the segment after laying out Belair.

Later on in the episode, Doudrop confronted authority figures Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce, demanding to know why she wasn’t being given a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship herself. She said that everyone is tired of the same people challenging and that she deserved a chance, despite having just lost a feud with Bianca Belair in recent weeks.

Sonya DeVille said that they are not in the habit of giving out title opportunities, but do like to give opportunities for talent to prove themselves. Deville made the official declaration that Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, and Doudrop would face off in a triple threat on next week’s episode of Raw to determine the number one contender for Becky Lynch’s title.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch also recently called out the returning Beth Phoenix, and the WWE Hall of Famer responded to the challenge.
