No Way Jose Makes IMPACT Debut At Slammiversary, Replaces TJP

No Way Jose IMPACT

No Way Jose was one of multiple former WWE stars to appear at IMPACT Slammiversary, replacing TJP to team with Fallah Bahh in the show’s World Tag Team Championship match!

As Fallah Bahh made his way to the ring, he repeated the question of whether he was able to find a tag partner to which he replied, “No, No, No… Way Jose!” revealing the former WWE star as his new partner! Now known simply as No Way, the 33-year-old immediately impressed in his IMPACT debut, holding his own against the likes of Rich Swann, Karl Anderson and Joe Doering.

This match marks Jose’s third match since his WWE release in April 2020, his first two both being for Lariato Pro – the promotion of fellow IMPACT star Doc Gallows!

No Way Jose had a fairly successful 5-year tenure in WWE, debuting his flamboyant persona in April 2016 in NXT. Following mid-card feuds with the likes of Austin Aries and SAnitY, he debuted on the main roster on the RAW after WrestleMania 34 and entered a feud with Baron Corbin in a losing effort. Afterwards, the Dominican star made sporadic appearances on WWE programming before being released from the company.

Elsewhere on Slammiversary: Chelsea Green debuted as Matt Cardona’s mystery partner, a vignette teased the impending arrival of the former Aiden English and FinJuice returned to IMPACT after nearly two months away!
