“No Major Injury” To Top WWE Star Despite Reports

WWE Main Roster Base Pay Increases Significantly, What Is The New Starting Salary?

Despite concerning reports, one top WWE NXT star is not dealing with a serious injury at this time.

On the February 25th episode of NXT, Stephanie Vaquer successfully defended her North American Championship against Karmen Petrovic. Her victory celebration was short-lived, however, as she was soon confronted by NXT Women’s Champion Giulia. As the two women want to prove which is the best, they demanded a title vs. title match at NXT Roadblock.

Sure enough, NXT General Manager Ava soon confirmed that Giulia and Vaquer will go face to face at Roadblock with both of their titles on the line.

Recently, reports emerged hinting that Vaquer was likely going to be victorious at Roadblock as the NXT Women’s Champion was dealing with an injury. However, a new report from PWInsider adds more clarification, noting that while the champion is “banged up,” she is not dealing with a major injury and is expected to work at Roadblock as planned. The report reads:

In speaking to several sources at WWE today, they all claimed to a person there is no major injury but acknowledged there’s “bumps and bruises,” as one person described it.

To a person, all sources reiterated what we reported yesterday in the Elite section – GIULIA is 100% expected to work the 3/11 Roadblock match against Stephanie Vaquer in The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

When Did Giulia Debut In WWE?

In early 2024, rumors swirled that the Japanese star was on her way to NXT. While she was originally reported to debut at NXT Heatwave in July, the star did not appear in NXT until confronting Roxanne Perez at No Mercy in September. It was later reported that her debut was pushed back due to injury.
