NJPW have revealed that their programming will “soon” be making its way to television in the United States as well as, for the first time ever, the United Kingdom!
As per a commercial that ran during night 1 of Wrestle Kingdom 15, the Japanese company have said that the UK/US deal announcement is coming “soon”. Although they have had English commentary on their show-streams, this would represent the company’s first foray into a TV deal in the UK. However, fans in the US have previously had the self-proclaimed King Of Sports on AXS TV.
UK fans already benefit from WWE on BT Sports and Channel 5 as well as AEW on ITV4, having seen some stars from the Bushiroad promotion through Revolution Pro Wrestling programming which previously aired on Premier Sports.

According to Dave Meltzer, “an announcement could come at any time”, which only serves to whet the appetite more for fans of the company.
Elsewhere on Wrestle Kingdom 15’s first night: The Guerillas Of Destiny broke records in becoming IWGP Tag Team Champions for the seventh time. At the conclusion of the night, the main event, Kota Ibushi claimed both the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Championships.
Night 2 will feature EVIL taking on friend-turned-bitter rival SANADA in a singles match as well as Ibushi defending his newly won title against Jay White, who took Ibushi’s G1 Right To Challenge Contract at Power Struggle last year.
