NJPW Announce UK Return

NJPW has announced that the company will be returning to the UK this autumn for a huge two-day event as they present Royal Quest II.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has not held a show in the United Kingdom since August 2019 when they presented the first Royal Quest show from the Copper Box Arena in London, England. At that show, fans were treated to a main event where Kazuchika Okada defeated Minoru Suzuki to retain his IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

Hometown star Zack Sabre Jr. was not so lucky as he lost his British Heavyweight Championship to New Japan’s ‘Ace’ Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Taking to social media, NJPW announced that the company will be returning to England’s capital on the 1st and 2nd of October with two shows taking place inside the Crystal Palace Indoor Arena.

Fans hoping to snap up tickets for the show can head to njpwuk.com to sign up to the mailing list to receive information about a pre-sale for the event.

No matches have been announced so far but with the G1 coming to a close soon, all eyes will be on who wins that tournament and what they will be doing when NJPW comes back to the United Kingdom.
