Ahead of her match alongside Alexa Bliss on Monday Night RAW, Nikki Cross unveiled a ‘super’ new look.
Speaking backstage, Nikki Cross at first appeared in a blue mask, delivering an impassioned promo about how she has been on a great run in recent weeks and is ready to embrace her true spirit.
As Cross prepared to head to the ring she fully unveiled her new superhero-esque look. The blue and gold outfit adorned with a gold butterfly and cape serving as a complete about turn from her usual ring gear.
It remains to be seen whether the new gear was a one off or is here to stay, but it certainly proved to be lucky.

Teaming with her former friend Alexa Bliss, who herself got new ‘Goth Carnival’ style theme music, the pair saw off Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
In typical Alexa Bliss fashion, she attempted to hypnotise Reginald at ringside, getting him to slap Nia Jax. ‘Reggie’ was able to stop just short of striking Jax, but the confusion allowed Cross to gain the upper hand and pin Baszler.
The win means that both Cross and Bliss have qualified for the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
Following her recent run of good form on the red brand, Cross revealed that she’s been training as much as possible. The Scot also detailed how she has been studying tapes of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat to help improve her in-ring skills.
WWE is of course no stranger to superheroes as The Hurricane and Mighty Molly were a hugely popular on RAW back in the early 2000’s.
Shane Helms, The Hurricane himself has taken to Twitter to comment on Cross’ new look, anointing her the ‘HERicane.’
What’s up with that?!
