Nikki Bella Has A New Rule After Awkward Photo With Fan, Says It Didn’t Feel Inappropriate

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella

Nikki Bella recently laid out a new rule after an awkward photograph with a fan surfaced. Bella also clarified that the incident wasn’t inappropriate.

Meet and greets are great moments as fans get to spend a small amount of time and take pictures with their favorite wrestlers. While WWE stars are all for making the moment special and even posing with their fans, some pictures turn out to be awkward.

That was the situation Nikki Bella found herself in recently, as a photo of her with a fan in a “prom pose,” i.e., a pose where the guy stands behind the girl and holds her by the hips, has surfaced, with many calling it inappropriate because it appears that the fan was too close for comfort.

Nikki Bella Addresses Awkward Photo Situation, Says Fan Had Asked Permission For Pose

A segment on the latest edition of the Nikki and Brie Show touched on the topic, with Brie asking her sibling about the situation.

Nikki Bella replied that the fan in the picture had asked for her permission and acted politely. She continued that, after she saw the photo, she laid out the rule that she would not be doing that pose again. Talking about the photo, she said that the reason it turned out so awkward was due to the fan’s posture and her baggy pants, which caused the image to appear distorted.

She clarified that the fan did not act inappropriately towards her and added that if that were the case, she would have alerted her WWE representative about it. Nikki Bella also added that she did not want to comment further about the same, concluding that she understood why some wrestlers have rules with regards to pictures, and confirmed that she would not be doing that pose in the future:

Well, I do feel like from now on there’s going to have to be a no prom pose rule. [I agree] after this photo. But I will say he had an incredible story. He asked very politely about doing a prom photo. I’ve done it a bunch. You guys, I didn’t feel anything. It wasn’t like it never felt inappropriate. It didn’t feel like what the photo looks like. [Yeah. So, you just said a pelvic thrust right when they said 3 2 1.] I think that was his posture, but maybe I think it. I feel like it was his posture, and those pants of mine were kind of baggy.

They kind of stuck out. So, you know how sometimes photos get distorted? [Okay.] I honestly feel like that’s what because I would be honest and I would literally go straight to my rep like, ‘Hey, that was really inappropriate.’ Like I felt stuff. I didn’t have that at all. So, and he was actually, I mean, unless I’m getting played, but he had a very sweet story. He’s watched us, Brie, from day one. He was very sweet. So, okay. I won’t even comment on it.

Well, now you know why some people make rules because things go viral for no reasons, right? And I feel like now after that, lesson learned because I do prom photos a lot with people. I’m just now that’s going to be a no.“
