Nikki Bella has returned to the WWE storylines. The RAW return of the 2020 Hall of Famer is fueling heated debates within the wrestling world, and drawing high-spirited jabs aimed at Nikki.
Fearless Nikki had a respectful backstage interaction with IYO SKY to kick off hour two of RAW, fueling talk on a potential Women’s World Championship opportunity for Bella. She later hit the ring to plug Evolution, and named several Superstars she sees at the top of the women’s division, including Stephanie Vaquer.
The Dark Angel’s last name was botched by Nikki, and the mispronunciation immediately brought heavy criticism from social media. After Liv Morgan interrupted Bella, the segment ended with Nikki getting laid out with Oblivion.

Many within the WWE Universe have trolled The Bella Twins on social media for years, and it seems even more are not thrilled with Nikki Bella’s return. The comeback went viral during RAW, but mainly for unfavorable reasons. Several fans believe this proved the former Divas Champion does not watch the current product.
“Nikki Bella hyping up the future women’s stars but got Vaquer’s name wrong… If you’re gonna have them pretend they watch the product, smarten them up beforehand please,” wrote one fan.
The botch by Nikki Bella was clearly not a part of the show, but several WWE fans hoped this would lead to an actual match between she and Stephanie Vaquer.
“Stephanie Vaquer should come out here and slap Nikki Bella for saying her name wrong,” another fan commented.
Bella’s RAW return was over-shadowed by her Vaquer botch, according to one common theme among fans reacting to the mishap. While wrestling fans largely seemed distressed, disgusted, or dismayed at Nikki’s RAW segment, most of the viewers reacting on social media used humor to get their point across.
