Nikki Bella fired back at the outrageous innuendos and stories about her dating life.
Bella recently filed for a divorce from Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev on September 11, 2024, with whom she had a son (born on July 31, 2020), due to irreconcilable differences. Prior to that, the Fearless One had a relationship with WWE legend John Cena in 2012 and even got engaged in 2017, but it was eventually called off in 2018.
During the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella refuted the claims that she only dates “20-year-olds.” The former Divas Champion addressed all the rumors and clarified that she can be in a relationship with men of any age.
There’s another lie going around that I’m only into 20-year-olds… So, when I was looking through DMs, I did see there were a bunch of guys saying like, ‘You know, s*cks that you’re now only into the 20-year-olds,’ and I go, ‘Where is this coming from?’… To see other people in my DMs confirm it, like, ‘Hey, you know, thought I had a chance, but I guess you’re only into people in their 20s.’ I’m like, ‘What the?’ I’m like, ‘This is crazy,'” Bella clarified. Nikki Bella patched things up with Wade Barrett
During the Clash in Paris 2025 post-show, Wade Barrett made some interesting remarks about Nikki Bella’s career in WWE. The Fearless One addressed it on her podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, and let it be known that she would love a conversation with The Bare Knuckle Brawler.
Eventually, Barrett clarified the supposed beef with Bella and revealed that they’ve spoken to each other, dispatching any remaining differences between them.
Great news, fight fans.. @NikkiAndBrie and I have spoken, we’ve smoothed things over, and I’ve graciously been allowed back into the Bella Army. Fully paid-up member since FCW 2008 🤝🏻🍷

Currently, Barrett has reportedly been moved from the WWE commentary, and he won’t be part of RAW or SmackDown, or even NXT moving forward. There’s no timetable for his return as the broadcasting reshuffling in the Stamford-based promotion continues.
