Nikki ASH will be the first to reach a certain milestone at Worlds Collide!
Scottish Superstar Nikki ASH is no stranger to achieving milestone moments in WWE, having been the first woman to hold all of Raw’s active championships available to female competitors as she’s been Raw Women’s Champion, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and 24/7 Champion (along with previously winning the Money in the Bank briefcase).
Now, the former Nikki Cross is set to reach another milestone at Worlds Collide. On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, NXT Women’s Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance handily defeated Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley before declaring that because they didn’t have a tag team to face at the upcoming Premium Live Event, they would instead hold a dance party in the parking lot.
However, the Carter and Chance were confronted with a surprise appearance from Raw Superstars Nikki ASH and Doudrop, who issued a challenge for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles at Worlds Collide. The match was soon made official, which gives Nikki ASH the unique achievement of having challenged for every women’s championship that is currently active in WWE today.
During her time in NXT as Nikki Cross, the star first had a chance at WWE gold in 2017 when she competed in a fatal four way match at TakeOver: San Antonio for the NXT Women’s Championship that was held by a then-undefeated Asuka. During the inaugural edition of Worlds Collide in 2019, she participated in a triple threat match for the NXT UK Women’s Championship that was ultimately won by current AEW star Toni Storm.
Following her main roster debut, Nikki would go on to become a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, holding the title with both Alexa Bliss and later Rhea Ripley. She would also unsuccessfully challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in November of 2019.
At the 2021 edition of Money in the Bank, the newly-renamed Nikki ASH would capture the briefcase and go on to defeat Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship. She’s also held the 24/7 Championship five times as of this writing.
