Nickelodeon Icon Plankton Sings Cody Rhodes’ WWE Theme In Hilarious Viral Video

Cody Rhodes WWE American Nightmare Banner With Nickelodeon Character Plankton

Cody Rhodes’ WWE entrance music is one of the most popular wrestling themes in the world, and it turns out even the residents of Bikini Bottom are fans.

The theme has become synonymous with his ‘American Nightmare’ persona and ‘Woahing’ during his entrance has become once of WWE’s most consistent pops since Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 38.

Cody Rhodes has been using Downstait’s ‘Kingdom’ track as his entrance theme since he left the WWE back in 2016.

But now the bands lead singer Sean Arata might have to find a new career as he has now been replaced by owner and CEO of the Chum Bucket, Bikini Bottom’s second most iconic restaurant, Plankton.

AI generated music has been on the rise since Chat GPT and other AI software has been made readily available to the public, leading to a massive TikTok trend of celebrities and fictional characters performing renditions of iconic songs.

The trend has now leaked into wrestling with a viral video of Plankton, the primary antagonist of Nickelodeon’s iconic SpongeBob SquarePants show, singing Downstait’s ‘Kingdom’ amassing over 100,000 views and nearly 13,000 likes in just three days.

This is not the first time that the worlds of wrestling and children’s TV have crossed paths, back in February 2023 AEW commentator Excalibur quoted CBBC icon Hacker T Dog’s legendary innocent men sketch.

Who Sings Cody Rhodes’ WWE Theme ‘Kingdom’

Downstait, the band behind Cody Rhodes’ Kingdom theme song, has seen massive success from the track with over 27,000,000 Spotify streams, almost three times that of their second most popular track, which happens to be fellow WWE Superstar The Miz’s entrance theme ‘I Came To Play’.

They have also produced theme music for Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Seth Rollins.
