Nick Jackson Makes First Public Appearance Since AEW Suspension

Nick Jackson makes his entrance on AEW Rampage 2022

It’s been a little over two months since the events of AEW All Out and thus, since CM Punk, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and numerous other parties were left suspended from All Elite Wrestling. Current reports suggest that Omega and the Bucks are expected back on AEW programming “imminently”, having already returned backstage.

The majority of those involved have kept largely low profiles since the infamous events, until now. Nick Jackson was seen recently at an NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Utah Jazz, tossing out t-shirts to those in attendance.

This marked the first time he’d been seen since All Out. He was directly referred to as being from AEW, though he didn’t take to the microphone, nor did he perform anything wrestling-related, such as Superkick Kawhi Leonard.

Nick Jackson Among AEW Stars Expected Back Imminently

As has been reported by various outlets over the past few weeks, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have returned to AEW’s backstage environment. It’s believed they first returned during the October 26 AEW Dynamite, which featured the first teaser video indicating their return. This saw various key moments involving them from AEW history being ‘erased’.

A subsequent video on the flagship show’s November 2 broadcast featured hints that Death Triangle, the current AEW World Trios Champions, were behind these videos. The trio of PAC, Pentagon Jr., and Rey Fenix have reigned as the three-man champions since Dynamite’s September 7 episode, defeating Best Friends to become the second champions in history.

It’s believed that they’ll defend the championship against The Elite at Full Gear on Saturday, November 19, per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The championships were first won by The Elite at All Out, eventually being declared vacant by Tony Khan following the matter and, therefore, lifted by Death Triangle.
