Nia Jax has paid the price for trash-talking this WWE NXT star.
Following her NXT return last week, Jax faced off against Thea Hail tonight on the August 5th episode of NXT. Following a critically acclaimed match, filled with several close falls, Nia Jax was able to pick up the victory over Hail.
However, soon after the match, Jax would be interrupted by another popular NXT star, Lash Legend. Avenging the ambush on her from Jax last week, Lash Legend was ready to take down Jax tonight.
As the 2024 Queen of the Ring winner began trash-talking her rival on the mic and taking shots at her career, fans witnessed Legend’s music hit as she entered the arena, speaking on the mic.
However, the verbal spat soon turned into an ugly brawl, with both women exchanging blows as security intervened to stop the clash. Security intervened to separate Jax and Legend as their intense verbal altercation continued, marking the conclusion of the segment on television.
With the Heatwave PLE coming up in the next few weeks, fans can expect Jax and Legend to clash against each other.
Update: Following the initial incident, the dispute carried on backstage in the second segment of the show, where Jax and Legend proceeded to continue their brawl. However, as security intervened, NXT General Manager Ava Raine unexpectedly appeared and declared a singles match between the two women for the upcoming NXT episode.
Again, later in the night during the main event title match between Sol Ruca and Tatum Paxley, Jax and Legend would cause a distraction while brawling and unknowingly helping Ruca successfully defend her title. However, Jax and Legend would end the night on a bad note as both crashed through the ringside barricade.
Nia Jax Delivers The “Politically Right Answer” On The Current WWE Locker Room
Earlier this year, in January, during an interview with US Weekly,Nia Jax opened up about her current thoughts on the WWE women’s locker room.
“Is this the politically right answer? Should I tell you the real tea? There might be a couple that we’re like, ‘Yo, sit outside. We don’t really want you in here. I’m not gonna say any names. We’ll keep it quiet.”
“For the most part in our women’s locker room, we all get along. We’re willing to help each other out … If one of us is like, ‘Hey, I’m about to do a promo, a match and a brawl, I need food,’ the girls are like, ‘Hey, whatever you need.’ We do really support each other. There’s times where we are each other’s family. At the end of the time, I’m with them 90 percent of the time. We have to turn to each other and really have a bond. If I could ever expose some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, it would be the best reality show ever.”
