Lina Fanene, formerly known as Nia Jax, has moved to comment on suggestions that there is animosity between herself and Charlotte Flair.
On the August 30th episode of Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax met Charlotte Flair. While the match-up might have appeared to be a run-of-the mill clash on the surface, it was in fact anything but.
At one point during the match Nia Jax picked Flair up for a belly-to-back suplex and dropped The Queen high on her back, shoulders, and neck onto the canvas. Many fans have wondered if there was a hint of reality when the two women began trading slaps before continuing with the match. Flair also delivered a nasty-looking chop block to Jax’s knee in an attempt to set her up for the Figure 8 submission.
It was later reported Jax had the backing of the locker room following the incident, as she had refused to be pushed around.
Posting on social media, Jax has now hit back at suggestions that there are real-life issues between the pair, sharing a clip of herself with Flair with the caption “Her and Charlotte really hate each other.”

On November 4th, former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax was released by WWE after a seven year run with the company. Jax was among 18 Superstars released at the start of November, with the WWE citing budget cuts as the main reason behind the departures.
However, it was later reported that Jax was “openly unvaccinated” against COVID-19 and this played a part in her release. In response, the former NXT Superstar said that her vaccination status had nothing to do with her leaving the company.
