Nia Jax Explains Why Current WWE Title Reign Means More To Her Than The First One

Nia Jax has compared her two reigns as WWE Women’s Champion.

The Irresistible Force defeated Bayley to win the title for the second time at SummerSlam following on from her victory in the Queen of the Ring tournament earlier in the year.

Jax first became champion back in 2018 after defeating Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 34. While Jax enjoyed the moment of the victory on The Grandest Stage, the reign itself felt rushed as Jax lost the title back to Bliss just 70 days later at Money in the Bank after Bliss cashed in on Jax during her title match against Ronda Rousey.

Appearing on Screen Rant Plus, Jax compared her two reigns as Women’s Champion and stated that the second reign has already surpassed her inaugural one:

“I think when I first won the title, it was a great moment against Alexa Bliss. We had that amazing storyline, and I wasn’t expecting to win that one. So, it was more of a shock to me. And, it was during the time where we had Ronda [Rousey] coming in, and there were so many factors going on. So, I didn’t really get to soak it in. I feel like this one [her current WWE Women’s Champion win] has meant so much more to me.”

Nia Jax Not Finished With Former Rival

Although Jax has had a number of high-profile victories following her return just over a year ago, there is one moment that he would rather forget. Speaking in a previous interview, Nia Jax promised revenge on a top star.

In a new interview, Nia Jax looked back on her 2021 release.
