Nia Jax Blasts Upcoming British Show

Former WWE Superstar Nia Jax has hit out at an upcoming British wrestling show for continuing to advertise her after she confirmed she wouldn’t be there.

Wrestling Entertainment Series, a new promotion headed by Sunny Dhinsa and Gzim Selmani – the former Akam and Rezar (Authors of Pain) was due to hold its debut show on June 4th. However, just a week before the scheduled launch, the event was postponed until July 9th.

The rearranged show is due to take place at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham and features several changes to the card compared to the one originally advertised.

One of the matches that was scheduled for the original date would have seen old WWE rivals Lana (CJ Perry) and Nia Jax (Lina Fanene) renew hostilities. Fanene has since confirmed she will not be on the rearranged show but despite this, she is still featured prominently on WES posters promoting the event.

The former Raw Women’s Champion took to social media to convey her frustrations over this:

“I do not know why I am still on this poster, but I will REPEAT myself again…I will NOT be at the show. Please do not buy a ticket thinking you will see me perform or get a chance to meet me. I hate that this misleads people!”

Nia Jax is not the only former WWE star to take issue with the promotion with current IMPACT announcer Matthew Rehwoldt also taking issue with his original involvement.
