NFL star Patrick Mahomes wants to get physical inside a WWE ring, and Triple H seems keen on the idea.
The April 29th episode of Raw emanated from Kansas City and saw WWE conduct the second night of the 2024 Draft. Presenting round 2 of the picks, United States Champion Logan Paul and YouTube star IShowSpeed let the fans know which stars had been drafted to Raw and SmackDown while also shouting out Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the crowd. Earlier in the night, Paul was seen arriving in the parking lot and met up with the NFL star.
Braun Strowman made a surprise return on the episode, and after breaking up a confrontation between Logan Paul, Jey Uso, and The Judgment Day, the former Universal Champion confronted Mahomes before being shooed away by Jey Uso.
Speaking about the experience on The Pat McAfee Show, Mahomes revealed that he wished he’d gotten in the ring to be part of the action. He said:
“The WWE thing was awesome. That was sweet. I wish, I should’ve gotten in the ring, man. I gotta show off my skills a little bit.”
McAfee responded by saying that was a very real opportunity for the NFL star, and then went on to ask Patrick Mahomes about Jey Uso avoiding a punch from Logan Paul. The NFL star said:
“I’ve seen enough to know that Jey Uso is good about getting out of those situations. When he does the Yeet, that was intense man, I loved that.
And then at the same time though, that’s my man Logan. I know he’s not the biggest fan favorite over there in the WWE, but I had to make sure to try to help him out a little bit. But I was definitely scared of the big dude [Braun Strowman], the big dude was a lot bigger than I expected to see whenever he walked up. I was very glad, thankful for Jey Uso getting him out of there, because I was not ready to go.”
According to one report, original plans called for Braun Strowman to attack Patrick Mahomes, but those plans were scrapped.
How Did Triple H Respond To Patrick Mahomes?
Taking to social media, Triple H extended an open invitation to Mahomes, writing:

Shortly after winning the United States Championship, Logan Paul traded his belt to Patrick Mahomes for the NFL star’s Super Bowl rings.
In a new interview in June 2024, Braun Strowman is open to facing the NFL star.
