With WrestleMania 39 just weeks away, there is still no news on who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2023.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony has become an integral part of WrestleMania weekend and is due to take place following SmackDown on March 31st.
However, it appears that some kind of announcement is on the way in the very near future. Wrestle Votes has reported that an announcement for the first inductee is due today, March 10th.
“The plan as of Monday was to begin announcing this years Hall of Fame induction class today. The annual HOF ceremony is 3 weeks from tonight in Los Angeles following SmackDown.”
The class of 2022 was headlined by The Undertaker and also featured The Steiners, Sharmell, and Vader.
Mick Foley Set To Be Involved In WWE Hall Of Fame
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Mick Foley revealed that he has been asked to induct someone into the WWE Hall of Fame. The legend stopped short of revealing the identity of the person who contacted him, but explained that he hadn’t spoken to them for some time.
“I received a text message from someone I’d had no contact with in a while, years and years, asking if I would induct them into the WWE Hall of Fame. As this plays out, we will see. There’s always a chance that request will be denied, but I know this person responded back to WWE that I was in. As of this moment, I’m counting on being there at the Hall of Fame to induct this person.2
