New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Crowned At Bash In Berlin

Jade Cargill Hopeful For Dream Match Against TNA Star

WWE Bash In Berlin saw the Women’s Tag Team Championships change hands.

The first ever WWE PLE to take place in Germany saw The Unholy Union of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn take on former title holders Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.

The two Scottish Superstars amazingly captured the titles at Clash Attended The Castle in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15th.

Following their win Fyre and Dawn successfully defended the championships three times across Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT. But their first PLE title defence was not to be.

Despite taking the fight to the challengers The Unholy Union were unable to leave the Uber Arena as champions. The powerhouses were able to overcome the Dawn and Fyre’s under handed tactics and put them away after 12 minutes when Cargill pinned Dawn to become two-time Women’s Tag Team Champions.

What Else Happened At WWE Bash In Berlin?

The PLE opened with the Undisputed Championship on the line in the match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.

The two comrades took their friendship to the limit as they beat the hell out of each other in a hotly contested match. After a brutal outing, Rhodes was able to pin Owens 26 minutes to retain the title.

The other big match saw CM Punk take on Drew McIntyre in a heated Strap Match that saw both Superstars inflict violence on the other to the delight of the German crowd.

The Terror Twins, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest defeated Liv Morgan and Dom Mysterio in a wild and thoroughly entertaining match.
