This new WWE signing was very close to getting her own NSFW merch.
A couple of weeks ago, on the 3rd June episode of NXT, former AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May, now known as Blake Monroe, made her NXT debut. Long absent from All Elite Wrestling, Monroe is now officially a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment roster.
Earlier this week, on the 10th June episode of NXT, she introduced the world to her brand new character and presentation. However, in the promotional vignette, Monroe gave fans a glimpse of her in a bathtub filled with bubbles, which soon went viral on the internet. It then had fans asking her to sell her bath water, like the recent collaboration between Dr. Squatch and Sydney Sweeney.
Responding to the online post, Monroe revealed that she had already made that pitch for the promotion.

However, with how NSFW the merch will be, it is unlikely to see the light of day. Next week on the 17th June episode of NXT, Monroe is officially set to sign her NXT contract.

While Mariah May was introduced to the Stamford-based wrestling promotion’s fans as Blake Monroe, soon reports emerged about the hidden reason behind the new name. According to BodySlam’s Cory Hays, Blake is a tribute to Mariah’s niece, while Monroe from the famous actress Marilyn Monroe.
