New Update On Tyson Fury Potentially Returning To WWE

Tyson Fury

A new update has emerged surrounding Tyson Fury and whether he will be returning to WWE.

Heavyweight boxing superstar Tyson Fury made his first appearance with WWE back in early October 2019. The undefeated fighter confronted Braun Strowman during an episode of SmackDown while he was watching as a ‘fan’ before eventually going on to face Strowman at Crown Jewel.

In Saudi Arabia, Fury won the match knocking out his rival. Fury later briefly teamed with Strowman at a SmackDown taping in Manchester, England the following month.

Since this brief foray, speculation has continually linked the WBC Heavyweight Champion with a return to the squared circle.

It has has now been revealed by Fury’s wife Paris, that the star speaks with Vince McMahon “all the time” and will definitely return to wrestling. Speaking during a interview with BBC Newcastle, Paris said that her husband “loves” WWE.

“He is in touch with Vince McMahon all the time. He loves it… [H]e’s definitely probably going to go into that again. I’m sure he will bounce into that WWE ring one of the days,”

Continuing on she added that the main reason Fury likes to be involved with WWE is that his children are huge fans of the company.

“[Tyson] loves it. My sons are all big fans of it. For Tyson to do it is kind of like a Disneyland trip, the kids love to go and they meet all the wrestlers. To be that cool dad that can give them kids that dream, he does it. I think that’s one of the reasons we’ve come to do this, and obviously being a young man he told me he was a fan of all these wrestlers.”

Fury was most recently in action on October 9th where he defeated Deontay Wilder via an 11th round knockout.

Speaking during a recent interview reflecting on her time with WWE, former announcer Renee Paquette recalled being screamed at by Vince McMahon after Fury’s SmackDown debut. Paquette said that McMahon wasn’t happy with how she introduced a video package involving the star, and he let her know about it in no uncertain terms.
