New Update On Jonathan Gresham & AEW

Jonathan Gresham

A new report has shed light on the situation surrounding current Original ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham and if he is set to become All Elite.

Tony Khan changed the wrestling business once again when he announced he had purchased Ring Of Honor from Sinclair Broadcasting on AEW Dynamite. The company had originally announced a hiatus following its Final Battle event in December letting their entire roster go.

One of the members of that roster was Ring Of Honor Triple Crown Champion Jonathan Gresham. Gresham wrestled Jay Lethal at Final Battle for the original ROH Championship after current champion Bandido had to withdraw from the event due to COVID-19.

Now Fightful Select has reported that Jonathan Gresham could be on his way to AEW, but as Tony Khan now also owns ROH, he could be staying as part of that brand instead. Assets have been produced however indicating that Gresham will be working as part of Tony Khan’s wrestling empire one way or another.

Gresham recently appeared backstage at AEW Dynamite in Bridgeport, Connecticut but did not appear in anyway on-screen.

Jonathan Gresham is scheduled for at least one more Ring Of Honor match as the company announced that he will face Bandido to crown an Undisputed Ring Of Honor Champion at the Supercard show to be held on the 1st of April in Garland, Texas.
