Threat emerges for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
In the December 14th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Morgan defeated Iyo Sky and successfully retained her championship. However, just hours after the title defense, she found her new number-one contender.
Feeling proud and boasting about her title reign, Morgan came out to a deafening crowd on the 16th December episode of Raw. Drowning Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio with boos, the crowd found a sigh of relief when the new number one contender walked out.
Coming out through the stage was ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley, who announced herself as the number one contender. While Ripley claimed that Adam Pearce made things official, no date for the title bout was announced.
Liv Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam but later lost via disqualification during her match at Bad Blood when Rodriguez returned and interfered.
We shall update the story once the match and date are made official.
Injury Update On Liv Morgan After Saturday Night’s Main Event
During her match against Iyo Sky at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Morgan suffered a bloodied nose. While concerns rose about how Morgan suffered the busted nose, it was believed that Sky’s multiple stiff knees to the face were the cause.
Later, Mike Johnson of PWInsider provided an update on Liv Morgan’s injury.
The word we are hearing is that Liv Morgan is OK and somehow did not suffer a broken nose. I have not confirmed why her nose was bleeding after the IYO SKY dropkick but we are told Morgan was checked out by WWE medical and was OK.
