A new match has been added this weekend for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On the July 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu allied in an attempt to take down Solo Sikoa. Although Jimmy and Jacob succeeded in defeating the United States Champion and JC Mateo in tag team action, Talla Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked them to stand tall. Now, the legendary former Tag Team Champion has a chance at redemption.
Ahead of this week’s SmackDown and Saturday Night’s Main Event, the Friday show’s General Manager, Nick Aldis, announced on X/Twitter that Solo Sikoa will defend the United States Championship against Jimmy Uso at SNME in Atlanta, Georgia.

Four Matches Are Now Official For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
After Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa has been made official for Saturday Night’s Main Event, there are now four official bouts set for July 12 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
After being disrespected by a returning Drew McIntyre last week, Randy Orton and The Scottish Warrior are now set for a singles match. Another one-on-one bout set to take place is between LA Knight and Seth Rollins, who have had beef since Money in the Bank.
Finally, in a match that many thought wouldn’t take place, Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Goldberg in the Hall of Famer’s retirement match. The rivalry between The Ring General and the former WCW Champion stemmed after a confrontation at Bad Blood 2024 and has been brewing since then.
