New Match Announced For AEW All In At San Diego Comic-Con

A 5th match has now been confirmed for AEW All In 2024.

With the biggest show on the promotion’s calendar less than a month away, the card is now taking shape with the main event confirmed and multiple top stars confirmed for big matches at Wembley Stadium. Following on from the events that took place during a panel at the 2024 San Diego ComicCon, Tony Khan has made another match official.

A panel featuring some of the top stars in the company was interrupted by Mercedes Mone and recent signee Kamille, who were dressed as Batman villains Poison Ivy and Bane respectively. As Mone disrespected Baker, a physical altercation occurred that was quickly separated by wrestlers and personnel. As things calmed down, Khan declared that he was “sick of this” and made the match between Mone and Baker official for August 25th with the title on the line.

The champion and challenger have been at odds ever since Britt Baker’s return at Forbidden Door upstaged Mercedes Mone’s championship celebration after The CEO defeated Stephanie Vaquer to become the new NJPW Strong Women’s Champion. Feeling disrespected, Mone interrupted Baker’s return promo on the next episode of Dynamite, leading to weeks of verbal and physical back-and-forths between the two wrestlers that was inevitably going to lead to a showdown inside Wembley Stadium.

The Updated Line-Up For AEW All In 2024 Is As Follows:

  • Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson – Singles match for the World Championship
  • Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May – Singles match for the Women’s Championship
  • Jack Perry (c) vs. Darby Allin – Singles match for the TNT Championship
  • MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay – Singles match for the International Championship
  • Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Britt Baker – Singles match for the TBS Championship

While many fans are happy with Mercedes Mone’s AEW run, one former announcer is not.
