With Clash at the Castle in Wales now less than three weeks away, another blockbuster match has been added to the show.
Drew McIntyre claimed his spot in the presumed main event of Clash at the Castle when he defeated Sheamus on the 29th of July edition of SmackDown. That win means the Scottish star will clash one-on-one with Roman Reigns for Reigns’ Unified WWE Universal Championship.
Elsewhere on the show, Liv Morgan will put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against number one contender Shayna Baszler. Former champion Ronda Rousey is sure to be watching on closely as she made her presence felt before Morgan and Baszler signed their contract for their bout.
Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY stole the headlines at SummerSlam when they made a surprise appearance on the show. Now the three women will have their hands full at Clash at the Castle as they tangle with Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and the Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair.
Fans heading to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on the 3rd of September now have another match to get excited about as Seth “Freakin” Rollins will finally go one-on-one with Riddle.
The two men had been set to meet at SummerSlam but a storyline injury to Riddle caused that match to be pulled from the event. Riddle made a surprise appearance on the show, calling out Rollins leading to a brawl between the two men.
