New Knockouts Tag Champions Crowned At IMPACT Hard To Kill

Fire Flava

After an Explosive Hard To Kill PPV title match, ‘Fire and Flava’ are the new IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

‘Fire and Flava’ (Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz) are now IMPACT Wrestling’s first Knockouts Tag Team Champions in over seven years, beating Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh. The end of the match came after Steelz hit a fisherman’s suplex on Nevaeh for the pinfall win. Former Knockouts Tag Team champions Gail Kim and Madison Rayne came out following the match, to present the newly re-introduced belts to the Champions.

Created in 2009, the Knockouts haven’t been seen on IMPACT since being vacated in 2013. Quite astonishingly, Eric Young and ODB were the previous KO Champions before being vacated – they held the belts for a record combined 478 days.

This is the first title win for either Hogan or Steelz in IMPACT Wrestling who joined forces to create ‘Fire and Flava’ back in May 2020 after Hogan approached the debuting Steelz.

The female wrestling community were quick to congratulate the new champs, AEW star Sonny Kiss tweeting “YESSSSS!!!” and IMPACT Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie posting “You both deserve this! To watch you both grow so much over the last years has been amazing! A conquistar el mundo cabronas!!!” The latter part translated to “conquer the world bi***es
