New footage of the upcoming AEW video game Fight Forever has been released, and it has been revealed the game will be available on PC as well as console.
AEW star Evil Uno hosted a Twitch stream that showcased some footage from AEW Fight Forever, with The Dark Order star also confirming the game will be available on PC.
Footage was shown of both Kris Statlander, portraying her Galaxy’s Greatest Alien character, and former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose. Aubrey Edwards was the official shown during the match footage of the two stars mixing it up in the ring.
Fightful Select had previously given an update on the state of the game with Kenny Omega said to have gone “above and beyond” with his contributions to the game, which included getting the director of the popular WWF No Mercy games, Hideyuki Iwashita, to be involved in the game’s development.
The report says that the roster on AEW Fight Forever currently sits at around 50 stars and the first release may well see some notable omissions. Names reported to be confirmed for the game include CM Punk, Ruby Soho, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, and Sting.
Bodyslam.net reported that Owen Hart is planned to be part of the game with AEW holding the men and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments that will culminate at Double Or Nothing.
Although there is no official release date for the game, it was recently reported that the game has a tentative internal release date of late September. There is said to still be plenty of work to be done, but a September release is the target. With regard to the game itself, it will include a story mode, and there was a deadline for music to be involved.
