A new championship match has been added to the WWE Saturday Night Main Event match card.
In the first hour of the 2nd December episode of Raw, the promotion announced a brand new match for the upcoming Saturday Night main event. Coming off hot after a segment between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, WWE followed it up with a tag-team match between The Damage CTRL(Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky) against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
However, just moments before the bout, a brand new match was announced for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky for the upcoming Saturday Night Main Event. Sky is a former World Champion herself, and recently put forward a spectacular performance at WarGames. Iyo Sky recently also opened up on her mentality ahead of her high-risk move at Survivor Series.
The Saturday Night event on December 14th will also host a WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. It will also feature the finals for the brand-new Women’s United States Championship.
With almost two weeks left for the event, fans can expect a few more matches to get added to the mix.
Dakota Kai Advances To The Semi-Finals Of The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
On the 2nd December episode of Raw, Dakota Kai defeated Katana Chance and Shayna Baszler to advance to the semi-finals of the Women’s IC tournament. The tourney also features other matches involving Zoey Stark, Kayden Carter, Raquel Rodriguez, Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, Ivy Nile, Alba Fyre, Kairi Sane, and Natalya.
In the coming weeks, more matches are set to take place to determine the first-ever women’s Intercontinental champion.
