New AEW Trios Champions Crowned On Dynamite

AEW

New AEW World Trios Champions have been crowned.

During the 9/7 episode of AEW Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling President, Tony Khan addressed the fans in a pre-taped message and announced that the company’s World and Trios Titles would be vacated following the physical altercation between now-former World Champion, CM Punk and the now-former World Trios Champions, Kenny Omega and Matt and Nick Jackson of The Elite.

Khan would then announce that tonight’s already scheduled match between PAC, Rey Fenix, and Penta of Death Triangle and Orange Cassidy, Trent, and Chuck Taylor of Best Friends would now be to determine new Trios Champions.

Death Triangle picked up the win when Fenix and Penta dispatched of Cassidy and Trent on the outside with a pair of dives over the top rope before PAC planted Taylor with his patented Black Arrow to get the 1-2-3 and secure the newly-vacated titles.
