Shawn Michaels Triple H DX crotch chop

Almost 25 years after the group was born, DX are still causing problems for mainstream America.

Philadephia 76ers star Joel Embiid has been fined $25,000 for performing the group’s famous crotch chop during a recent game against the Brooklyn Nets. The 76ers went on to win the game 137-133.

DX Recently Returned To WWE

D-Generation X originally formed back in the summer of 1997, as the remaining members of The Kliq took their friendship on-screen. During this period the group came to involve Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac.

For the next three years, the group became one of the most popular acts on WWE television while featuring heavily in the main event scene. The faction is often credited with helping push the boundaries of what was shown on the likes of Raw and SmackDown during the Attitude Era. Although the group eventually splintered apart they have reformed in various incarnations multiple times over the following two decades.

The most recent reformation came on January 23rd on the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, and X-Pac all appeared with Kurt Angle replacing Billy Gunn who is signed to AEW. In an in-ring skit, the group went to perform their signature entrance before realising that Angle had snuck into the action.

After some back and forth the WWE Hall of Famers were interrupted by Imperium. This led to each man teasing that they would challenge the SmackDown before quicking backing down as they’re too old.

The confrontation led to a match being made between Imperium and the Street Profits & Seth Rollins with Angle serving as the special guest referee.
