NBA Legend Dennis Rodman Confirmed For Starrcast VI

A Chicago legend will be a part of Starrcast VI. Starrcast announced Dennis Rodman, a five-time NBA champion and former member of the iconic New World Order faction.

Set to take place from September 1st to September 3rd, Starrcast VI will welcome Rodman back to the city where he made a significant impact in the basketball world, winning three NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls.

Rodman’s foray into professional wrestling saw him team up with Hulk Hogan and the NWO in WCW. One of the most memorable moments of his wrestling career was his tag team match alongside Hogan against Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page at WCW Bash At The Beach 1998.

Rodman also shared the ring with Hogan to take on Lex Luger and The Giant Paul Wight at WCW Bash At The Beach 1997 and faced off against Randy Savage at WCW Road Wild 1999.

Rodman also appeared at the i-Generation Superstars of Wrestling pay-per-view event in July 2000, where he wrestled Curt Hennig, better known as Mr Perfect, for i-Generation Championship in a losing effort.

He was also a part of the reality show Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling in 2008, which featured celebrities training to be professional wrestlers. Rodman went on to win the show.

Beyond his wrestling endeavours, Rodman solidified his status as a basketball icon. With an impressive resume that includes two All-Star appearances, two Defensive Player of the Year awards, and five NBA championships.

Rodman’s contributions to the sport cannot be understated. In recognition of his achievements, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
