Natalya Wonderfully Puts Over “WORKHORSE” Superstar As He Leaves WWE After Six Years

Natalya heaped praise on a now-former WWE Superstar, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, calling him a true workhorse.

Ashante “Thee” Adonis was predominantly featured on NXT TV during his six-year tenure in WWE, although he had a stint on SmackDown as well. He was paired alongside A.J. Francis and B-Fab, with the three of them together dubbed as Hit Row. Francis, who reverted to his original name in TNA after his release from the Stamford-based promotion, performed under the ring name Top Dolla previously.

According to reports, since his release, Adonis received “a lot of praise” backstage in NXT. As it turns out, he always put in the effort to improve, worked out at his own time, while also contributing at the WWE Performance Center.

Natalya’s Heartfelt Gesture To Ashante “Thee” Adonis Following His WWE Departure

On X/Twitter, Natalya seconded the report on Adonis getting praise from backstage personnel, as the post caught her attention. She revealed the former WWE star even worked at The Dungeon, a wrestling school that she runs with her husband, retired pro wrestler T.J. Wilson. The couple carries the legacy of Natalya’s royal wrestling family, The Harts, through their work at their training school.

Natalya emphasized the effort Adonis put in and the impact he had on the younger talents. She called him a “workhorse.”

The work Ashante puts in at The Dungeon every week is inspiring. @tehutimiles is a WORKHORSE. The day he got the call that he was no longer w the company, he came to train with us and gave back to everyone. He always does. He poured his heart out on the mat. Forward is forward,” Natalya wrote.

It is not out of the realm of possibility that Ashante Adonis joins his former stablemate A.J. Francis at TNA. Perhaps a Hit Row reunion? However, that would be with the exception of B-Fab, who continues to work on Friday Night SmackDown as an in-ring performer, and occasionally as the manager of the Street Profits.
