‘The Queen of Harts’ Natalya will pay her respects to the late Jon ‘Brodie Lee’ Huber by renaming her spinning lariat in his honour.
On the December 28 edition on Monday Night Raw, WWE Superstars such as Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, T-BAR, Drew McIntyre and the company’s commentary team all paid their respects to Huber in their own unique ways.
Now, Friday Night SmackDown star Natalya is adding her tribute to the late AEW star by renaming the same spinning lariat that Huber used as his finisher in the star’s honour. The decision came after WWE Intercontinental Champion, Big E, sent out a tweet remembering the larger than life talent.
In the tweet, the New Day member wrote of how Huber would get involved in comedic rivalries with the female talent backstage. This included tales of him coping Dana Brooke’s poses, stealing Natalya’s discus lariat and texting E pictures of him dressed like Sonya Deville.
Responding to the tweet, Natalya stated:
“This made my day. I’m gonna rename the spinning lariat after Brodie…”
The move which was known for a decade as Nattie By Nature, will be re-labelled as soon as the January 1, New Year’s Day edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Jon ‘Brodie Lee’ Huber passed away on December 26 from a non-COVID related lung issue.
