Natalya Reveals Rey Mysterio Gave Her His Wrestling Boots For WrestleMania

Natalya & Shayna Baszler

Natalya has revealed that Rey Mysterio lent her a pair of his custom made wrestling boots at WrestleMania.

At night one of WrestleMania 38 Rey Mysterio teamed with his son Dominik to take on The Miz and Logan Paul.

Meanwhile on night two of the spectacular, Natalya and Shayna Baszler attempted to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships in a Fatal Four-Way Match.

However, the event proved to be less than memorable for both stars as they were defeated in their respective matches. Although The Miz later turned on his partner, that was of little solace to the Mysterios.

Posting on social media after the show, Natalya revealed that Rey Mysterio had actually lent her a pair of his custom made wrestling boots to wear during her match. The silver boots, featured the number “619” and “The Mysterios” branding alongside the name of the manufacturer.

Rey later replied to the Queen of Harts with a message of his own, saying they looked amazing.

While Natalya might have been unsuccessful at WrestleMania it was a different story for Sasha Banks. The Boss and Naomi reigned supreme in the Fatal-Four-Way Match and claimed the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The win marked Banks’ first at the show in six attempts.

On the Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania, the feud between The Mysterios and The Miz initially looked set to continue. On the show, The Miz quickly defeated Dominik before Veer made his long awaited debut on the red brand.

The Indian star attacked the father and son team, locking Dominik in a modified Camel Clutch to leave him laying.

Veer Mahaan hadn’t been seen on WWE’s main programming since being drafted to Monday Night Raw back in October. Shortly after the WWE Draft took place, a series of vignettes began to air, declaring that “Veer is coming.” On the November 1st episode of Raw, he was called Veer Mahaan, indicating that the Superstar had undergone a name change and gained a surname during his journey.

However, after waiting for months for the Indian behemoth to appear, the vignettes became somewhat of a joke in the WWE Universe, with many fans wondering if Veer would ever arrive on the red brand.
