Natalya Responds To Reports Of Bizarre Live Event Incident With Liv Morgan

Natalya has hit back at reports suggesting she broke character to chastise Liv Morgan at a recent WWE Live Event.

Over the weekend Liv Morgan defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey and Natalya at a series of live events. However, the finish to one of these matches very clearly didn’t go to plan.

Morgan hit Natalya with her finisher and got the win, but Natalya quickly got back up and appeared to shout at Morgan before quickly getting out of the ring.

It was reported after the show that Natalya was “mad” and there “was an issue” but it was nothing to do with Morgan. However, any problems between the pair were said to be smoothed over before the night was over.

In response to the reporting of the incident, the SmackDown star clapped back saying that it must have been a slow news day.

Natalya challenged Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Title at Money In The Bank but was ultimately unsuccessful in her bid to win the title. After the match, Liv Morgan cashed in her Money In The Bank contract and pinned Rousey to win the first WWE Championship of her career.

On the following episode of SmackDown, the Queen of Harts said that Morgan had only won the title because she injured Rousey in their match.

It has since been announced that Morgan will defend her newly won title at SummerSlam against Rousey.
