Natalya Reaches Monumental WWE Milestone

Natalya

Natalya celebrated reaching a substantial milestone in her career this week, by competing in her 1,500th match.

Natalya squared off against Liv Morgan on the latest episode of Smackdown. Picking up a victory, ‘The Queen of Harts’ tweeted that the win marked match number 1,500:

1500th match. And another victory, stretching my record as the most winningest women in 1500th match. And another victory, stretching my record as the most winningest women in @wwe history. And look at all the respect I get for it, @YaOnlyLivvOnce💥 #SmackDown

This new milestone comes after another impressive feat that was reported back in August of last year. At the time, with 1,360 matches under her belt, Natalya announced that she had the greatest win/loss record of any female in WWE history.

Natalya is no stranger to greatness in the world of professional wrestling. Daughter of Hall of Famer Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart, she is a member of the legendary Hart wrestling family. Dubbed the ‘Hart Dungeon Diva’, she trained in the legendary ‘Hart Dungeon’, where legendary performers such as Davey Boy Smith, Bret Hart, Edge and Chris Jericho all began their journey to greatness. Notably, Natalya is the first and only woman to be trained in the legendary dungeon. She is also the first ever third generation professional wrestler.

Beginning her career in 2001 as a ring announcer, Natalya soon debuted for the Hart owned promotion, Stampede Wrestling. Eventually making her way to WWE in 2007, she was victorious in her debut match on Smackdown, defeating Cherry.

Her long tenure with WWE has made Natalya one of the most notable female wrestlers in WWE today. A former Diva’s Champion, she would finally win the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship in 2017, an accolade that would also see her win ‘Overdue Title Run of the Year’ in Rolling Stone magazine.

In recent weeks, a potential union between Natalya and Tamina has been a topic of discussion amongst fans. Tamina sent out a congratulatory tweet to Natalya, following her victory on Friday night:

Very Proud of You @NatbyNature and your win on #SmackDown There may be a lot of forces against you but I got your back Baby G🖤💗

Inside The Ropes congratulates Natalya on this monumental milestone.
