Natalya Surpasses Incredible Career Milestone On SmackDown

Former WWE Divas Champion Natalya has passed a major career milestone following her victory on the most recent edition of SmackDown.

On the 19th of November edition of SmackDown Natalya teamed up with another former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler to defeat the team of Naomi and SmackDown newcomer Aliyah.

Following a quick count from the referee, Baszler and Natalya picked up the victory after only a minute. However as Natalya told the world in an interview after the match, the sixty-second bout was more significant than it first appeared.

As Natalya told Megan Morant the victory marked the star’s 500th in-ring victory:

“With all this talk about heroes and leaders, Shayna and I, we’re just here to elevate the division. With 500 wins, I’m the greatest of all time.”

The third-generation star competed in her first match back in 2005 and joined WWE in 2007, competing first in the developmental territories of Deep South Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, and Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Natalya debuted on the WWE main roster in the spring of 2008 and went on to capture the WWE Divas Championship at Survivor Series 2010. The Canadian star had to wait another seven years for her next taste of gold. That came at SummerSlam 2017 when she defeated Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Although currently injured Bayley is not too far off the daughter of Jim Neidhart’s record with the Role Model currently on 460 wins in her career. Charlotte Flair currently has 384 victories putting her ahead of her Survivor Series opponent Becky Lynch who has 341.
