WWE Superstar Natalya expressed her admiration for the legendary Trish Stratus, comparing her to Jennifer Lopez and a fine wine that only gets better with age.
In a recent interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Natalya was asked to discuss Stratus’ strengths and weaknesses, and she wasted no time in highlighting the versatile nature of the WWE Hall of Famer.
Natalya pointed out that one of the most remarkable aspects of Stratus’ career is her ability to effortlessly transition between portraying a heel or a babyface character. This versatility has contributed to her long-lasting impact on the world of professional wrestling.
Trish can always diversify. She’s exciting as a babyface, she’s exciting as a bad girl. She looks better than ever.
Drawing a parallel, Natalya likened Stratus to multi-talented artist Jennifer Lopez, who has also aged gracefully and only improved with time.
But Trish coming back into WWE, she’s like the Jennifer Lopez of WWE. She gets better with time. She looks better now at 47 than she did 20 years ago.
The conversation then shifted towards Stratus’ recent pairing with rising star Zoey Stark. Natalya recalled a promotional segment where Becky Lynch criticized Stark for lacking personality, a remark that she believes lit a fire under the newcomer to Raw.
Natalya expressed her belief that Stratus would play a crucial role in helping Stark break out of her shell and find her voice in the WWE.
What Is Natalya Doing In WWE Now?
Natalya was drafted to Raw as part of the 2023 Draft. Since being drafted she has only made two appearances on the red brand, the first was a qualifying match for Money in the Bank against Zoey Stark which she lost.
The last appearance she made on Raw was for the WWE Women’s Championship against champion Rhea Ripley in which she lost in a well-received 13-minute bout.
