Natalya Comments On Record-Setting Appearance At WrestleMania 39

Natalya

Natalya has spent well over a decade in WWE, and in that time she’s achieved a number of historic achievements.

At WrestleMania 39, she’s set to compete alongside new ally Shotzi in a fatal four way tag team match against the teams of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This will mark the Queen of Harts’ 13th appearance and 11th match on the Grandest Stage of Them All, a record when it comes to the women’s roster.

Speaking to Jon Alba via Inside the Ropes in partnership with FITE TV, Natalya commented on her upcoming tag team bout and said she doesn’t take her accomplishments for granted.

“I’m so excited, this is actually my 13th appearance at WrestleMania and my 11th match, which means I have the most WrestleMania matches of any woman in history. It’s exciting because I never take it for granted, I think that every year you have fight for your spot, you gotta fight for your spot at WrestleMania, you gotta fight tooth and nail year round. It’s cool when you see people come back once a year to do WrestleMania, it’s a big, big thing but for me I’m one of the women that fights all year long to be on the show and every year it gets harder and harder.”

According to WWE’s newly-released schedule for both nights of the blockbuster event, the fatal four way women’s tag team match will take place on April 2nd.

Natalya Holds Multiple Guinness World Records

Last August, Natalya took to social media via her “assistant” Bob to show off three Guinness World Records she’d been awarded. Though she’s now surpassed these stats as her accomplishments continue to accrue, Guinness lists her as holding the following records:

  • The most WWE matches performed by a female roster member (1,137)
  • The most WWE PPV appearances by a female roster member (70)
  • The most WWE wins in a female roster member’s career (641)
