Natalya Claims Being Drafted To WWE Raw Can’t Stop Her Appearing On SmackDown

Natalya

Natalya has been a mainstay on SmackDown for nearly three years, but now that the dust has settled on the most recent edition of the WWE Draft, the Queen of Harts is headed to the red brand.

Triple H first announced the upcoming Draft on the April 7th episode of SmackDown, claiming it would be the biggest Draft in company history and that every WWE Superstar was eligible to be drafted. The Draft began on the April 28th episode of SmackDown and concluded on the May 1st episode of Raw.

Speaking in a new interview with The Archive of B-sox, Natalya opened up about her excitement following the WWE Draft. In the process, she claimed that the results of the Draft might not be as definitive as the company claims.

“It’s exciting. I got drafted from SmackDown to Raw, but that doesn’t mean that I still can’t show up on SmackDown. That’s kind of the cool part about being in WWE. You’re drafted to a certain brand, but if the storyline calls for it, you can show up on another show. It’s cool.”

How Natalya Found Out About The WWE Draft

Continuing, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion claimed she didn’t find out about the Draft taking place until Triple H first made the announcement on television.

“How I learned about it was Triple H announced it on Raw. We had no idea. We really learn about a lot of stuff in the company as you guys learn about it. To be perfectly honest, I like it that way. We get to be part of the fan excitement and things can change so fast. In some ways, I’d rater just know about it as it comes rather than hear about it, it gets changed, then you get your hopes up or get excited, and it doesn’t happen. It’s nice to be on the journey with fans when they hear that information as well.”
