The protracted saga involving WWE, Sasha Banks and Naomi shows no sign of coming to end as the latter appears to show shade at the company in a new tweet.
The relationship between WWE and it’s former Women’s Tag Team Champions remains at an all-time low.
Banks and Naomi haven’t appeared on WWE television since walking out of the May 16th episode of Monday Night Raw. Their departure caused the main event segment of the show to be rewritten and the pair were derided on commentary.
On the following episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that the pair had been suspended without pay, and stripped of their tag team titles. They have also been removed from the opening video packages on WWE programming, while the merchandise has been removed from the company’s online store.
In a new post on social media, Naomi has now appeared to take a not so subtle jab at WWE, writing “Anything that cost you YOUR peace is TOO expensive.” An audio clip from rapper Lil Boosie also plays on the post saying, “If you aint’ bringing peace in my life I don’t want you round me.”

On July 13th Sasha Banks was back in the news after it was announced that she will be appearing at C2E2 under her real name Mercedes Varnado.
Interestingly, in the announcement there was no mention made of WWE or her Sasha Banks ring name. This has only served to ramp up speculation around her status with WWE, following earlier reports that she had left the company.
It has since been reported that Banks won’t be making any wrestling related appearances until 2023.
Although there has been no official update on the status Naomi and Banks, it has been noted that they have been removed from internal rosters in the company.
