Naomi Reaches Huge WWE Milestone

WWE star Naomi has hit a major milestone in her pro wrestling career.

From her main roster debut in 2012, the SmackDown star has found championship success many times with 2 reigns as Women’s Champion, 2 reigns as Women’s Tag Team Champion [1 with Sasha Banks and 1 with Bianca Belair] and was also the winner of the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

While Naomi recently lost the Women’s Tag Titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, the SmackDown star recently achieved a very rare accomplishment. As pointed out by a user on social media, the former Women’s Champion has competed in 99 matches for Florida Championship Wrestling and for 905 matches in WWE, meaning that she has had more than 1,000 matches in the company.

When looking back at the former Women’s Champion’s matches on Cagematch, her appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble was match number 1,000.

The SmackDown star was also previously in TNA following her infamous exit in 2022, where she won the Knockouts Championship once.

Naomi Seemingly Set For Major WrestleMania Match

In late 2024, Jade Cargill was assaulted by a mystery attacker and was off TV for months, promoting an ongoing storyline as to who was responsible. As Cargill was one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time, Naomi stepped in to partner up with Belair so that the titles would not have to be vacated again. Although the company attempted a misdirect by setting up Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez as potential attackers, fans did not believe this would be the payoff.

Cargill made her return to TV at Elimination Chamber and got revenge on Naomi, who later confessed to Belair that she did attack Cargill last year. With the former friends now enemies, it appears that a match between the two will be made official for WrestleMania 41.
