Naomi Drops Fresh Hint She’s Done With WWE

Naomi has given another hint that she could be done with WWE, by teasing a match against a former Superstar.

Sasha Banks and Naomi haven’t been seen on WWE television since walking out of the May 16th episode of Monday Night Raw. Their departure, seemingly over a creative dispute, caused a frantic re-write of the main event match that they had been due to be part of.

On the following episode of SmackDown it was announced that the pair had been suspended and stripped of their Women’s Tag Team Titles. Neither woman has been referenced on WWE programming since.

While it has been suggested that Sasha Banks has already left the company, this hasn’t been confirmed WWE. However, on July 7th it was reported that Banks and Naomi had been removed from WWE’s internal roster. It was later noted that the pair had removed “WWE Superstar” from their Instagram profiles, replacing it with “Professional Wrestler.” A term famously banned by WWE.

Naomi has now appeared to drop another hit that her time in WWE is over.

On July 11th, former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado tweeted “Sooooooo….. @NaomiWWE
when we doing some lucha things” to which the former Women’s Champion replied “asap brother.”

Dorado then replied again with a gif of WWE legend Paul Bearer.

Lince Dorado performed with WWE from 2016 until late 2021 when the Lucha House Party star was released on November 4th alongside the likes of Ember Moon, (Athena) Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux.

The Lucha star has since appeared in Major League Wrestling as well as a series of independent promotions.
