Naomi and Sasha Banks made waves last spring when they walked out of the May 16th episode of WWE Raw amidst creative disputes with then-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. After it became clear that they weren’t going to return, the pair were stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and suspended without pay, and neither woman has been seen in WWE since that time.
That doesn’t mean that Naomi and Sasha Banks have been sitting at home biding their time, however. Both women have taken on a number of projects outside of WWE, appearing at New York Fashion Week back in September as well as showing off their flexibility in a training session. Banks is also advertised to appear on Barmageddon, a USA game show series hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. The Boss will compete against Nikki’s sister Brie Bella in an upcoming episode.
Naomi And Jade Cargill Sat Together At An Atlanta Hawks Basketball Game
Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi seems to be enjoying her time away from the squared circle, and she recently took to social media to post photos of her enjoying an Atlanta Hawks basketball game alongside current AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill. The game in question saw the Hawks take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. The Thunder were victorious with a final score of 121-114.
After the real life Trinity Fatu posted images and a short video of the two enjoying the game on Twitter, Cargill responded, saying they must do this again.
“We killed the scene. We MUST did this again sis”

While Trinity has stepped away from the squared circle for the time being, Jade Cargill remains dominant. Not only is she the first AEW TBS Champion, she is the only woman to hold to the title in the company’s history, and her reign currently stands at well over 300 days. At AEW Full Gear, Cargill retained the title when she defeated Nyla Rose, who had stolen the champion’s title belt for weeks and falsely claimed to be the champion herself.
