A mysterious vignette appeared during Money In The Bank and immediately set social media on fire with potential theories.
While the Las Vegas crowd was recovering from a potential match-of-the-year candidate between The Usos and The Street Profits, a mysterious vignette played on the big screen.
In the clip, a shadowy figure was visible surrounded by a series of crosses, candles and gothic architecture. The vignette, which appeared without text, a voiceover or any kind of context, instantly set the wrestling world ablaze as fans tried to crack the code.
Numerous theories immediately sprang up, ranging from Bray Wyatt to Gable Steveson. However, a more likely candidate might be Edge. Many of the clues in the video pointed to the Rated R Superstar’s former rivals. There were links to Kurt Angle, The Hardy’s, The Dudley Boyz and Eddie Guerrero via, a gold medal, arm-bands similar to Jeff Hardy’s, broken glasses with tape in the middle and a license plate which read “Latino Heat.”
The gothic imagery of course a reference to his time in The Brood.

Edge hasn’t been seen on WWE television since June 6th when he was kicked out of Judgment Day, the group he had founded with Damian Priest.
On the show Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley joined The Rated-R Superstar to toast their victory over AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan at Hell In A Cell.
This made it all the more shocking when Finn Balor emerged as the newest member of The Judgment Day. The first-ever Universal Champion explained his decision came as a result of conversations with Ripley and Priest following Hell In A Cell before Priest told Edge the group needed to rid itself of anything that was holding it back. Balor, Ripley, and Priest then attacked the 11-time world champion, delivering a vicious beating punctuated by a con-chair-to.
