MVP Wanted Bianca Belair In The Hurt Business

MVP The Hurt Business

MVP has divulged which female member of the WWE roster that he wanted to be part of The Hurt Business when his business was booming.

MVP returned to WWE as a surprise part of the men’s 2020 Royal Rumble match, but more success was to come as he soon aligned himself with Bobby Lashley. The two men added Shelton Benjamin to their ranks and The Hurt Business was born.

The group was completed when they recruited Cedric Alexander and Alexander and Benjamin soon captured the Raw Tag Team Championship. While The All Mighty Bobby Lashley carried the WWE United States Title as the group dominated the red brand.

The Hurt Business was stopped in its tracks prior to WrestleMania 37 when Lashley attacked Benjamin and Alexander, banishing them from the group. As Bobby Lashley carried the WWE Championship, his former teammates fell by the wayside until September when Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin helped Lashley fend off an attack by The New Day.

The reunion was to be short-lived as in January 2022, ahead of Lashley facing Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Title, The All Mighty one once again cut Benjamin and Alexander loose.

Speaking on WWE After the Bell with Corey Graves, the former WWE United States Champion gave his thoughts on which female star he wanted to be part of The Hurt Business:

“I am a Bianca Belair fan and I’ll have everybody know behind the scenes I was actually talking to Bianca Belair a bit about potentially adding her to an organization, a faction that I used to be a part of.”

“There were lots of people talking about ‘hey, you need a woman in the group,’ and there were some discussions with Bianca but things went in a different way. I said that to say this: I am a fan of Bianca Belair and I believe that when you talk about the WWE Women’s Championship and if Bianca Belair isn’t in that conversation, I don’t want to have it.”

Bianca Belair carried the SmackDown Women’s Championship throughout much of 2021 as she captured the belt at WrestleMania 37 before losing it in record time to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. After the WWE Draft in October 2021, The EST of WWE was drafted to Raw.
