After his victory on Monday Night Raw, MVP chose the stipulation for the next bout between Bobby Lashley and Omos at Hell in a Cell!
MVP and his former client Bobby Lashley have been at odds since the night after WrestleMania when MVP turned on Lashley and aligned himself with Omos instead. In the following weeks, Lashley has defeated Omos in an arm wrestling contest, but fell at the hands of the Nigerian Giant at WrestleMania Backlash after interference from MVP. Last week, the two fought in a hellacious cage match that saw Lashley victorious when Omos threw him through the side of the cage and he was able to stand up on the ground outside.
Now, on the May 23rd episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley once again issued a challenge to Omos, declaring that he wanted to face MVP in a match and that the winner of their bout would earn the right to choose the stipulation when Lashley and Omos face off one more time at on June 5th at Hell in a Cell.
The two faced off later in the episode, and toward the end of the match, the Nigerian Giant attacked Lashley behind the back of the referee, leading to MVP securing the victory via countout and earning the right to choose the stipulation for the next Lashley vs. Omos encounter.
While he didn’t make his decision on Monday Night Raw, the former Hurt Business manager appeared on Raw Talk and announced that he’d chosen the bout to be a handicap match in which Bobby Lashley will be alone to face the pair of MVP and Omos.
