MVP & Omos Make Switch To WWE Smackdown

MVP

MVP and Omos are making the move over to WWE Friday Night Smackdown.

A recent report has MVP and Omos being relocated to the blue brand.

Ever since he was promoted to the main roster last year, “The Nigerian Giant” has been featured on Monday Night Raw, and during his rivalry with Bobby Lashley earlier this year, Omos would gain MVP as his manager. Under the Vince McMahon regime, Omos was considered a favorite, but under the leadership of Triple, the 7’3″ giant didn’t have many plans going for him other than a few clashes against jobbers on the red brand.

That appears to have changed, however, with Triple H booking Omos on Smackdown this past Friday where he would have a face off with Braun Strowman. After Strowman won a handicap match against a couple of jobbers, MVP and Omos then confronted “The Monster Among Men” from the audience, with the former claiming that Omos is the better big man out of the two, kicking off a feud between Strowman and Omos.

According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE is making the switch to Smackdown official for both MVP and Omos, with the company booking the two on the blue brand on a consistent basis going forward, with a rivalry being set between the Strowman and Omos that could eventually lead to a bout between the giants at Crown Jewel on November 5.
