Multiple WWE superstars made their highly anticipated returns to the wrestling ring during live events on September 8th and 9th.
In a house show match held at the Nassau Coliseum on September 9th, Johnny Gargano stepped back into the ring. The former NXT Champion faced off against the formidable Omos.
Meanwhile, also on the 9th, the NXT live show at the Melbourne Auditorium in Florida witnessed the return of Arianna Grace. Grace made her presence felt as she squared off against Fallon Henley.
Gable Steveson, a highly acclaimed amateur wrestler and Olympic gold medallist, featured in a match against Dante Chen on September 8th in the Alan Jay Arena.
Since these returns, both Gargano and Steveson stepped back into the ring for a second time. Gargano took part in WWE Sunday Stunner on September 10th, once again facing Omos. Steveson featured on the same NXT live show as Grace on the 9th, once again going against Chen.
Is Gable Steveson Still With WWE?
Gable Steveson is still signed to WWE where he is featured on the NXT brand. However, recently it was reported that Steveson was removed from the NXT roster.
Steveson initially signed with the company in 2021 to a NIL (Next In Line) deal. After signing he was featured in a segment at WrestleMania 38 where he was introduced by Stephanie McMahon on night one. Then on night two he confronted Chad Gable after the opening match and delivered a suplex to Gable.
Steveson has also been featured in segments on SmackDown and NXT. As of writing Steveson has only had one televised match, which was at the NXT Great American Bash event.
